Who we are

What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
- Job seeker profile: headline, country, preferred destinations, skills, summary, employment history, education and the CVs you upload.
- Applications: the vacancies you apply to, your cover note, the CV you attached and the status set by the employer.
- Employer details: company information and the details you give to request verification.
- Messages: anything you send through the contact form, and reports about vacancies.
- Technical data: your IP address and actions such as logins, kept in security and audit logs and used to limit abuse.
How we use it
- To run your account, show vacancies and process applications.
- To let employers review applications you choose to send.
- To verify employers and review vacancies and reports.
- To send emails you ask for or that are needed for the service, such as verification, password reset, application updates and job alerts.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
Who sees your information
- When you apply, the employer (and its recruiters) can see your name, email, profile, cover note and CV. Employers are in different countries, so your information may be accessed from outside your own country.
- If you make your profile visible to employers, they can see your profile details but not your contact details or CV unless you apply.
- Our administrators can access account data where needed to run and protect the service.
- Our website hosting and email providers process data on our behalf.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms. Optional analytics only run if you accept them. See our cookie policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information until you delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, CVs, applications, saved jobs and alerts. Security and audit logs, which may include an account number and IP address, are kept for a limited period for security purposes.
Your choices and rights
- Edit your profile and choose whether employers can find it.
- Download a copy of your data and delete your account from your dashboard settings.
- Unsubscribe from alerts and newsletters using the link in any email.
- Contact us to ask questions about your information or to raise a concern.
Security
We use encrypted connections, hashed passwords, private file storage and access controls. No online service can be completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
